Bandai Namco Games announces Magi for 3DS
The upcoming issue of Shounen Sunday reveals that Bandai Namco Games is publishing a Magi videogame for the 3DS platform. The title is an adaptation of a popular manga running in the magazine, with an anime adaptation due to start in October. The game appears to be a 3D action RPG, where the player controls either Aladdin or Alibaba – the two lead characters in the story, as they explore and conquer Dungeons in search of treasure and magical items – just like in the manga. The story begins with the first dungeon dungeon from the original story – Amon, but there will be many other original dungeons in the game.
The game will have a teaser trailer running at the Bandai Namco Games booth at TGS this coming week, while the official site will open on Sept 19: http://game-magi.channel.or.jp (link not active yet)
